David Bailey is an artist and graphic designer who lives in Portland, Oregon. He is also the editor, publisher and art director of Huge Magazine.

David received his BA in Art with an emphasis in Conceptual Design from San Francisco State University. It is here that his interests in comics and graphic art helped bring forth the first issue of Huge Magazine. Huge began as a photocopied black-and-white 'zine with a print run of only 500 copies.

David took his interest in experimental and alternative music to the stage in 1985 with a performance festival that he produced and performed in, entitled Night of 1000 Stars. That same year he also had a brief stint with the improvisational performance group, 23 Screams, and has played keyboards and drums in various San Francisco bands.

David has worked as a graphic designer and as an art director for companies and advertsing agencies both large and small. He is now the Creative Director for DBD+A, a design and advertising firm in Portland, Oregon.

David likes to collect weird paintings, 50's pottery, tikis and other vintage paraphernalia. He also dabbles in photography and creates digital paintings under the name Bonehead. His greatest accomplishments may well be his young daughter and son, who have their father wrapped around their tiny little fingers.
